Betty Jean Dixon, 80, formerly of Charlotte, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016. Survivors include three children, Clarence R. Dixon, Jr. (Victoria R.), Thomas O. "Tod" Dixon (Sheila C.) and Anthony L. Dixon (Shelly); a brother, Pete Smith; a sister Faye Johnston; 14 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00PM until 7:00PM Friday, June 24, 2016, at Liberty Baptist Church, 3000 Sam Wilson Rd. Charlotte, NC 28214. A funeral service will follow at 7:00PM. Burial will be at Sharon Memorial Park Saturday morning at 10:00AM. -
