Bobby Jerome Byrum

Bobby Jerome Byrum was born May 9th, 1982 in Charlotte NC and departed this life on Sunday June 6th, 2021 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina MN at the age of 39.

Bobby was educated from 1st grade-9th by the Union Co Public Schools System and completed his educated at South Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte NC where he was a part of their football program earning him a scholarship to Livingstone College.

Bobby later became a master barber and a mixologist. Other than the love of his clippers he loved music.

Bobby is survived by his mother Kim Nesbit, his father Larry Byrum, his sister Karla Byrum, his fiancé Jenaue McClendon, his stepsons Sinclair & Cedron Bascomb, his bonus sisters Daniell Chunn (Labron), Ajani Jones, & Mia Nesbit, his biological father Bobby Black, his stepsister Darion Black, stepbrothers Corey Black and Cody Black. In addition to his extended family are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends

He also leaves his second mom Lynn Hood, his chosen brother Kason Conway, and his chosen sister Ebony Allen.

A receiving of friends will be held from 11:00 am -1:00 pm Saturday June 19th at Gaskin Funeral Services 14617 Lawyers Road #B Matthews NC 28104
