Daniel Aaron Gilbert

Daniel Aaron Gilbert, 41 of Charlotte, NC passed away on May 14, 2019. He is the son of Danny and Kathy Gilbert. He is also the brother of Derek Webb Gilbert and younger brother Dustin Terry Gilbert, both of Charlotte, NC.
Daniel was self employed as a painter which was his passion. Family and Friends will remember him having the biggest heart and brightest smile that would light up the room. He would always place others before himself. Daniel sure did love his nieces and nephews, he was a kid at heart.
In addition to his parents and siblings, Daniel is survived by his paternal grandparents, Yates and Helen Gilbert, Maternal grandmother Georgeanna Lawing; Aunt Terry Gilbert of Denver; Aunt and Uncle Cynthia and Frank Zinke of Belmont; Aunt and Uncle Anna and Greg Gilbert of Charlotte; Aunt and Uncle Margie and Max Lawing of Florida; Uncle Danny Lawing of Florida and multiple cousins. Daniel will be missed by many other family members and friends who will mourn his loss.
A Visitation will be held at Central Church to celebrate Daniel's life on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00am with a Service to follow.
