David W. Hefferon

David William Hefferon, 85, of Monroe but formerly of Charlotte, died February 12, 2015. He was born August 7, 1929, in Holyoke, MA. During the Korean Conflict he served as an officer in the U.S .Army. David enjoyed a forty year career as a commercial pilot. He was known for his quick wit and twinkle in his eye. Survivors include his wife, Pat; sons, Tom and wife, Sylvia, Mike and wife, Karen, and Paul and wife, Vera; sisters, Mary, Margaret, Ann, and Eileen; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. -
