Donald E. Cooley

Donald Eugene Cooley, 73, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord, Monday, July 4, 2016. Don was born September 7, 1942 in New Boston, Ohio, to the late Russell Cooley and Marie Johnson Cooley. He retired from Yellow Freight after 32 years of service where he had been a diesel mechanic. Don was an avid fisherman, loved to play ball and ride the tractor with his grandsons. His immediate family includes his wife of 53 years, Yvonne G. Cooley; three children, Mike Cooley and his wife, Cindy, Dawnna Austin and her husband, Rodger, and Danielle Odom and her husband, Chris; his only living sibling, Robert Cooley; nine grandchildren and six great grand children. -
