Essie Hoyle Thomas

Essie Hoyle Thomas, 89, passed away Saturday evening, July 29, 2017. Essie was born November 12, 1927, in Lexington, North Carolina, was was the daughter of the late A. P. Hoyle and Bessie Coble Hoyle. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Thomas, Jr. They were married 55 years. For 34 years, she sold antiques along with her husband at Metrolina Expo. Essie was a proud member of Morning Star Lutheran Church in Matthews. Her immediate family includes her children, Marcus (Mark) Thomas and his wife, Grace, Pam Troutman and her husband, Tom, and Karen Faison and her husband, John; a sister, Edna Alexander; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. - Visitation Details Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 11:00am - 11:30am, Morning Star Lutheran Church
