George Eugene "Gene" Evans, 82, of Charlotte, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016. Born in Gaston County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late George Washington Evans and Daisy Mae Summey Evans. His immediate family includes his children, Debbie Evans, Karen Sue Brown, Connie Ann Miles, Donald E. Evans, George Ronald Evans, and Tammy E. Evans; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. -
