Geoff Tierney

Geoff Tierney, 55, of Matthews, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015. Geoff will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to give whatever he had to anyone in need. He could always be counted on and was truly one in a million. Whether you had just met,or known Geoff for a lifetime, he always made sure you felt as if best friends. His personality could always bring a smile regardless of what kind of day or particular circumstance you were facing. His immediate family includes two stepsons, Michael Roberts and wife, Christin, and Shawn Hudson and wife, Nikki, who all considered Geoff as a true father; granddaughters that will truly miss their "Pop", Keely, Kaitlyn, Taylor, and Cameron; his wife, Evelyn Tierney; his brother, Greg Tierney; and mother in law, Faye. Until we meet again, we will always cherish the memories and laughs we shared together. We love you "GT". -
