Herbert Blackwell Kerr

Herbert Blackwell Kerr, 77, of Indian Trail, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019, while in the care of Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Mr. Kerr was born in Union County, North Carolina, November 20, 1941 and was the son of the late Carl Brevard Kerr, Sr. and Fay Christine Johnston Kerr.
He is also preceded in death by his brother, Carl (Toad) Kerr, Jr., and sisters, Margaret Watts and Christine Turner.
He will be remembered for his years of service as a mechanic with Thurston Motor Lines.
His immediate family includes his children, Herbert Timothy Kerr and his wife , Joy, and Helen Kerr McGee and her husband, Vance; his sisters, Johnnie Wilder and Jean Thomas; and brother Jerry Kerr; five grandchildren, Joshua Kerr, Daniel Kerr, Sara Kerr, Callie McGee and Jared McGee , and many nieces and nephews.
