J.C. Fox

James Clifford (J.C.) Fox, 80, passed away in his home on September 1, 2017 in Monroe, North Carolina surrounded by his family. He was born in Morganton, North Carolina to Jacob Fox and Mary Harris Fox on August 9, 1937. J.C. never met a stranger and always smiled. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, numerous years coaching in various sports, fishing, teaching classes in his church and talking with everyone about Jesus Christ. Survivors include his 3 sons; James Allen Fox, David Fox, Mark Fox (Julie) and 2 daughters; Pamela Langston (Tim), and Elizabeth Fox: and father to Michael Helms and Joyce Ann Jones. His wonderful stories and special memories will be treasured by each of his grandchildren and great grandchildren; Jessica Langston, Jamie Fox, Brandon Stilwell, Ricky Richardson, Sable Fox, Hillary Carpio Reyes, Brittany Stilwell, Trenton Jones, Savannah Fox, Bailey Stilwell, Joanna Jones, Alex Fox, Joseph Jones, Elijah Fox, Bryson Stilwell, Payten Helms, Gretchen Helms, Cherokee Wilson, Rayshaun Baxter, Jayshaun Baxter, Kaleighia Sowell, and Brynleigh Richardson. He was preceded in death by his wife Una Mae Fox (Ballew) and daughter Valerie Ruth Fox (Jones). A time of gathering will take place on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Life Church located at 1721 North Charlotte Avenue, Monroe, North Carolina from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Lucy Helms Cemetery located in Monroe, North Carolina. Services to be officiated by Pastor Billy Gowan of Life Church. Arrangements provided by Gaskin Funeral Services.
