James Whitney Godfrey

James Godfrey (86) sailed into the sunset on December 25, 2023. Born in Salamanca, NY. Jim spent most of his youth in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of the College of William & Mary where he met his wife of 65 years, Patsy Clark. Together they cherish their two daughters Cathy (Rick) Burger and Kimberly (Gif) Lockley, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jim was employed by Shell Oil for 17 years before launching his own successful real estate business. Sailing, RVing, tennis, skiing and card playing were among his favorite activities. No formal services are planned at this time.
