Jesse Foard

Renzy George "Jesse" Foard, 89, formerly of Charlotte, passed away April 24, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dean Foard, and most recently his present wife, Dale Foard. Jesse was a native of Mecklenburg County, and after 30 years of service, he retired from the Charlotte Fire Dept. During WWII, Jesse served in the Pacific Theater in the US Marine Corps. His immediate family includes his children, Gwen S. McLachlan (Robert), Lou Ann Johnson (Chet), Candice F. Burton; step-children, Wayne Husband (Diane), Barbara Stophel, Alan Husband (Andrea) and Ronald Husband (Teresa); his brother, Bill Foard; three sisters, Mary Alice Moses, Muriel Morris, and Eloise Norman; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great, great grandchildren. -
