Kelly Morrison

Kelly Kistler Morrison, 46, Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in the Harris Hospice Unit at Presbyterian Hospital. Kelly's mother and sister were at her side. A Charlotte native, Kelly was born January 6, 1971. She was a Pediatric RN and most recently served as the Practice Manager for Eastover Pediatrics. Kelly relished the clinical portion of her career and was pleased that even as a manager, she was able to continue her interaction with children. She will be fondly remembered by many "small" friends and their parents. She was truly dedicated to her profession. Kelly's bucket list included living at the beach and she fulfilled that wish by living at both Carolina Beach (NC) and Folly Beach (Charleston). Those times provided many cherished memories with family and friends. An avid reader, Kelly loved her quiet devotion times each morning. She had a deeply spiritual heart. Kelly was the daughter of Patricia Veasey Kistler and the late James Peter Kistler, III. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Kristin. Also, surviving are aunts Brenda Andrews and Judy Glover, nieces Julie Andrews Snider and Johnna Glover, and nephew Johnny Glover. Kelly adored her great-nieces, Christine and Rachel. The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, in the chapel of St. Matthews Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway 28277. In lieu of flowers, Kelly would have been delighted to help continue the wonderful care given by the Harris Hospice Unit at Novant Health- Presbyterian Medical Center, 1601 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte 28204 (www.novanthealth.org).
