Leslie H. Hayes

Leslie Hovis Hayes of Huntersville, NC passed away on February 15, 2015 after a 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. Born in Charlotte, NC on January 22, 1958, Leslie had a real passion for family and friends, enjoyed cooking, traveling the world, and experiencing life to its fullest. She was a truly great person and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Hovis and survived by her husband, Jeff Hayes, her mother, Marty Hovis, daughter, Misty Kennedy and husband Lee along with their two children, Lincoln and Julia, her son Heath Shirley and his fiancee Crystal Centeno, her brother, Rick Hovis, and her sister in law Terri Sobiecki.
