Lucille Griffin

Alma Lucille Griffin, 89, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away May 2, 2013. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Leonard Frank Griffin, and her daughter, Debaney Sue Griffin Smith. Born in Norwood, North Carolina, Lucille was the daughter of the late Aullie and Elizabeth Parker. She graduated from Charlotte Technical High School in 1941. For 31 years, she and her husband, Frank, owned and operated the House of Flowers in Charlotte. In her free time she enjoyed bowling and keeping up with family and friends on Facebook. She was a proud and active member of Ebenezer ARP Church. Her immediate family includes her children, Gail Griffin of Greenville, SC, Shelia Gilbert and her husband, Randy, of Jacksonville, FL, and Leonard Griffin and his wife, Annette, of Toccoa, GA; her sister, Jean House; and five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. * In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Ebenezer Cemetery Fund, 6210 Old Pineville, RD.
