Martha Lynn "Marty" Hovis

Mrs. Martha, "Marty", Lynn Hovis, 85, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away January 3, 2018. Marty was born May 7, 1932, in Haywood County, North Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eva Mauney of Canton, North Carolina. Mrs. Hovis was a loving mother and dedicated wife who enjoyed a life of family and friends. Music, cooking, and reading were also a big part of her life. Her immediate family includes her sons, Rick Hovis and Wayne Hovis, her daughter, Donna Perkins, son-in-law, Jeff Hayes, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. -
