Peggy Farmer Ashley

Peggy Farmer Ashley, 77, of Monroe went to Heaven after a hard fought battle on the morning of November 4, 2015 surrounded by her family at Carolina's Medical Center, Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Ashley. Peggy will always be remembered for her love for her family, nature and puzzles, her awesome cornbread, her beautiful crocheted afghans and her big heart for animals. She will be greatly missed by many. But at the same time we can rejoice and celebrate her life knowing that she is with Jesus experiencing fullness of joy in His presence. Survivors include her children, Gary Ashley, Richard Ashley (Kay) and Vickie Abernethy (Chuck); brother William Farmer, sisters Betty Lineberger, Pam Reitz and Robin Wojcik; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Dream Center.
