Rev. Virgil L. Buchanan

Reverend Virgil Lewis Buchanan, 90, of Charlotte, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, November 29, 2013. Rev. Buchanan was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina, and was the son of the late A.J. Buchanan and Ethel George Buchanan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rev. Aretta Buchanan, November 3, 2013. His immediate family includes his brother, George A. Buchanan, of Charlotte; two sisters, Jessie B. Phillips of Charlotte, and Margaret B. Montgomery of Charleston, SC; numerous nieces and nephews that include Gene Pressley and his wife, Debbie. -
