Richard Query Baker

Mint Hill, NC. Richard Q. Baker, age 85, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, January 13th, 2019 at 5:55 PM. He was born December 31, 1933 to the late Cleve and Mildred Baker in Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolyn Benfield Baker. A loving Father to Pastor Rick Baker (wife, Vickie), and Rusty Baker (late wife, Teresa). Richard had two grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Surviving brothers and sisters Joyce Wilson, Barbara Simpson, and Ronnie Baker: Preceded in death by Polly Allen, Gladys McConnell, Cleve Jr. (Speed) Baker, Dot Martin, and Donald Baker.

Richard was a humble, faithful servant to his church, (Faith Baptist Church, Mint Hill, NC). He was a devoted and loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and Friend. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Faith Baptist Church in Mint Hill, NC Thursday, January 17th at 11am. Immediately following, a memorial service will be held in remembrance of his Wonderful life.
