Violet Arlene Dodd, 90 of Indian Trail, NC formerly from Rainelle, WV.  Born on September 27, 1929, Died on May 9, 2020. Daughter of Hobart Herman Shaffer and Minnie Nash Shaffer. Violet is Preceded in death by Her parents; Husband Claude Roy Dodd Jr.; Brothers Herman Shaffer and Jack Shaffer; Sisters Jean Ferrell and Loretta Neal; Granddaughter Lori Dodd Griffin; Grandson Adam Dodd; Great granddaughter Stephanie Dickerson; Great grandsons Cameron Hyatt Dodd and CJ Taylor and Great great grandson Korbyn Dodd.  She is survived by, Daughter Sharon and husband Bill White of Bolt,WV; Sons Jim and wife Sue Dodd of Indian Trail, NC; Tim and wife Betsy Dodd of Prince George, VA; Brothers Rusty Shaffer and wife Dana, Tommy Shaffer and wife Kathryn ; Sisters Evelyn Payne and husband Leslie, Doris Kincaid and husband George, Emma Orndorff.  Along with many Nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
